Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Math, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; required or equivalent
• 15+ years related experience; or Master's with 12+ years; or PhD with 8+ years
• Experience designing and evolving service-oriented architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and data platforms (SQL and NoSQL)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence technical direction across teams

Responsibilities

• Own architectural assessment and simplification across multiple teams or domains.
• Partner with senior engineers, technical leaders, and business partners to guide architectural decisions.
• Establish mechanisms for documenting and communicating architectural decisions and trade-offs.
• Translate needs and user feedback into improvements for shared platforms, tools, or processes.
• Contribute code and design improvements to internal systems, upholding quality and maintainability.
• Influence architectural standards across the engineering organization through collaboration.
