Job summary

Steelman Partners in Las Vegas seeks a Technical Director – Architecture to lead the firm's technical practice, establishing standards, QA/QC, and best practices for project documentation and construction administration. This senior role guides how projects are documented, reviewed, and executed with strong oversight of codes and constructability.

You will mentor architectural staff, coordinate with BIM processes, and support project teams across all design phases to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Provide leadership for technical standards and QA/QC procedures across projects.
• Experience with building codes, accessibility, life safety, and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain firmwide architectural technical standards and QA/QC procedures.
• Lead technical reviews at milestones (SD, DD, CD, permits, IFC).
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines and develop project manuals and specifications.
• Mentor staff through technical reviews, training, and development.
• Collaborate with BIM Manager to maintain Revit standards and workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the portfolio.
