Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Technical Development Representative to advance Loveland Products precommercial programs and support the LPI sales team. The role emphasizes field research leadership, data analysis, and knowledge transfer across regions from Minnesota to Washington State.

The position requires an MS in a related field, strong data skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% with a company vehicle provided. Remote/home-office work is supported.

Qualifications

• MS degree in agronomy, soil science, crop science, horticulture, plant pathology, entomology or weed science.
• Experience designing, conducting, evaluating, and analyzing agricultural field research.
• Demonstrated applied field research, technical education, and data management skills.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn JMP, ARM, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge of crop inputs and farming practices in Northern Plains and Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project leadership focused on LPI innovation and collaborate with marketing portfolio managers.
• Lead precommercial protocol development and experimental design aligned with LPI objectives.
• Establish and maintain an applied field research program with contractors and universities.
• Validate, analyze, and summarize field data with statistical methods and summaries.
• Convert data into marketing content, describing placement, positioning, and value.
• Offer technical leadership supporting product advancement decisions.
• Collaborate with LPI Sales for knowledge transfer and training to staff.
