Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Technical Development Representative to lead precommercial field research for Loveland Products across the Northern Plains and beyond. The role emphasizes designing trials, analyzing data, and translating findings into market-ready insights for the sales team.

The position supports the LPI portfolio with a focus on technical development and cross-functional collaboration, while enabling remote work from a home office and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires MS degree (or PhD preferred) in agronomy or related field.
• Experience in designing and analyzing agricultural field research.
• Strong data management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project leadership with a primary focus on LPI innovation.
• Lead precommercial protocol development and experimental design.
• Establish and maintain an applied field research program with contract researchers and universities.
• Validate, analyze, and summarize field research data with applied statistical analysis.
• Convert data into marketing content, characterizing product placement and value.
• Offer technical leadership to support product advancement decisions.
• Collaborate with LPI Sales managers for knowledge transfer and training.
