Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Technical Designer to join our client’s apparel team in New York. You will develop precise tech packs, drive fit sessions, and partner with design, development, and production to ensure quality, fit, and construction meet brand standards.

You bring 3–5 years of technical design in women's apparel, strong CAD/Illustrator skills, and a meticulous eye for detail, with the ability to collaborate across vendors and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Technical Design experience within the apparel industry.
• Experience with women's apparel is required; outerwear/activewear preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit evaluation.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong measurement accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams and vendors.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain detailed tech packs with sketches, measurements, grading, construction details, and specifications.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), packaging requirements, care/content labels, carton markings, fold/hanger pack instructions, UPC information, and related docs.
• Conduct and participate in fit sessions using live models and communicate revisions to vendors and teams.
• Review prototypes, fit samples, and pre-production garments with pattern makers and manufacturing partners.
• Ensure samples meet standards for fit, quality, construction, and design intent prior to production.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and external partners to support product execution.
• Promote consistency in garment performance, durability, and customer satisfaction.
