Job summary

Gensler in Phoenix is seeking a Technical Designer to collaborate with architects and designers, developing design solutions and coordinating through construction administration. You will combine creativity with technical know-how to deliver projects and drive delivery while mentoring colleagues.

You will work with design directors and teams on concepts, presentations, and production, resolving complex design issues with practical solutions and producing graphics and 3D renderings to communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interiors from an accredited school.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Revit, Adobe Suite, and Rhino required.
• Strong conceptual 3D thinking and graphic presentation skills.
• InDesign, SketchUp, Grasshopper, and Parametric Modeling a plus.
• Ability to communicate design ideas quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills.

As a Technical Designer at Gensler, you will collaborate with a team of architects and designers to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction administration phase of a project. Your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with a focus on project delivery and an understanding how to produce functionally beautiful designs. You will drive delivery of a project, collaborate with office and regional technical leaders, and develop delivery and process improvement strategy. What You Will Do

• Work with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production

Your Qualifications
