Job summary

Gensler in San Francisco seeks a Technical Designer to advance your architectural career within a collaborative, mentoring-driven studio.

You will participate in all project phases, produce renderings and drawings, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and vendors to meet project objectives. A Bachelor's in Architecture and strong Revit skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple projects and contribute to a design-forward practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect preferred, but not required.
• 10+ years of related experience, including proven ability to deliver projects from beginning to end.
• Revit proficiency is required.
• Experience with 2D/3D software: Revit, BIM360, Octane, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, Bluebeam, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
• LEED accreditation a plus.

What You Will Do

• Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect preferred, but not required
• 10+ years of related experience, including proven ability to deliver projects from beginning to end
• Experience interpreting building code requirements in designs, coordination with consultants, and clear client communication during C.A.
• Revit proficiency is required
• Proficient in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, BIM360, Octane, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, V‑Ray, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Experience using and applying VR and/or AR as applicable to the architectural design process is a plus
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• LEED accreditation a plus

• The base salary will be estimated between $107,000 - $140,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
