Job summary

Cinq à Sept is seeking a skilled Technical Designer for our Tous Les Jours line in New York. You will bridge design and development, turning creative concepts into precise technical packages and well-fitting garments.

The ideal candidate has a Fashion Design degree, about 6–7 years in technical design, and is proficient in Excel and Illustrator, with strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and draping to support fast-paced product cycles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
6-7 years of technical design experience.
Strong knowledge of garment construction and fit.
Proficient in Excel and Illustrator.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with design to understand concepts.
Develop technical packages with specifications and construction details.
Conduct fittings and coordinate with design and overseas factories.
Troubleshoot design and fit issues to ensure feasibility.
Advise on construction techniques, fabrics, and finishing details.
Evaluate and approve proto samples ensuring alignment with design intent.
Stay updated on industry trends and manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency.
