Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Technical Designer to lead technical design efforts for womenswear and sportswear lines. The role focuses on producing production-specific technical packages in Excel, detailing construction, specs, and fit comments to ensure brand standards.

The candidate should bring strong patternmaking skills, experience with garment construction, and the ability to drive consistent fit across factories. A fast-paced, office-based environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Has experience with women's dresses and/or sportswear.
• Patternmaking experience is a big plus.
• Problem solver who can conduct fittings, manage their own workload and work effectively, while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and possess organizational skills; ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and computer skills. Excel is a must, Outlook, Word, Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate detailed technical packages with construction, specs, and fit comments that meet brand requirements.
• Create consistency between factories regarding fit and make.
• Provide accurate fit direction with specific pattern corrections to factories.
• Proficient in garment construction, sewing, factory processes, especially for high end and mid-tier markets.
• Participate in fit sessions with live models and communicate fit issues with solutions.
• Work with fit corrections and construction.
