Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create and revise CAD models and BOMs using Creo, supporting NPD and sustaining engineering initiatives.

You will apply GD&T, maintain Windchill PLM data, and collaborate with design leads, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and conformance to engineering standards. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product design experience in an engineering environment.
• 2+ years of Creo Parametric with demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation.
• 2+ years of experience working with engineering drafting standards and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise CAD models, production drawings, BOMs and associated engineering documentation.
• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using Creo and other approved tools.
• Execute assigned design tasks in support of New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining Engineering programs.
• Support ECNs through documentation updates and drawing revisions.
• Identify documentation issues and manufacturability concerns and escalate as needed.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers affecting assigned tasks.
