Pratt Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Richmond, VA to provide outstanding customer service, support, and technical guidance to internal and external customers. You will handle complex inquiries, assist with order entry and proactive selling, and help coordinate shipping and inventory to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide technical, safety, and operational guidance on products.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming inquiries via mail, phone, or electronic contact.
• Enter and adjust orders, engage in proactive selling and marketing.
• Resolve questions and complaints within scope of responsibility.
• Provide technical guidance on product applications, storage, and display matching.
• Coordinate shipping, plant schedules, inventory, and sales activities with management.
• Develop and review customer communications and respond to questions.
• Promote new product lines and assist with selling additional products.
• Build relationships and communicate between sales and customers to clarify orders.
