Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing, writing, editing, or managing technical or instructional content.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, audience-appropriate written instructions.
• Strong technical editing and proofreading skills and command of writing conventions.
• Experience developing content from SME-provided source materials.
• Experience editing content while preserving technical accuracy.
• Experience developing instructional materials for multiple audiences and learning paths.
• Ability to organize information into reusable content structures.
• Experience with accessibility-conscious document development and Section 508 principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical training content for contact center learning paths.
• Translate objectives and SME input into clear written training materials.
• Create and maintain training aids, job aids, desk-side references, guides, and other materials.
• Develop Train-the-Trainer (TTT) curriculum for VA instructors to deliver Genesys Cloud CX training.
• Produce instructor guides, facilitator guides, lesson plans, and related materials.
• Edit material from curriculum designers, instructional designers, SMEs, and others to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Review existing VA OIT training materials to improve clarity and instructional effectiveness.
• Ensure terminology and style are consistent across all learning pathways.
• Create content that supports reuse across multiple learning paths and audiences.
• Coordinate with Genesys Cloud CX SMEs and VA stakeholders for accuracy and alignment.
• Support content reviews, version control, and accessibility compliance.
