Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a skilled Multimedia Developer to support VA enterprise contact center training content. You will transform existing recordings and training materials into polished self-paced modules and downloadable resources for VA's Talent Management System.

The role involves video production, audio editing, screen capture, graphics development, and instructional media design across Agent, Supervisor, WEM, and analytics learning paths.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in multimedia production, instructional technology, graphic design, digital media, education, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing and editing multimedia learning content, instructional videos, or comparable digital training products.
  • Demonstrated experience editing video and audio content for professional or instructional purposes.
  • Proficiency with professional multimedia production and video-editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) or comparable tools.
  • Experience creating high-quality screen recordings and software demonstrations.
  • Experience developing graphics, annotations, callouts, diagrams, and other learning assets.
  • Experience converting raw recordings into polished instructional content.
  • Experience collaborating with instructional designers, curriculum developers, SMEs; strong translation of technical concepts into learning content.
  • Experience developing job aids and performance-support resources.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility requirements for digital learning (captioning, transcripts, accessible documents).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across a large library of training products.
  • Ability to manage multiple multimedia assignments while meeting production schedules and quality standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally edit training sessions into concise, engaging self-paced learning modules.
  • Review source recordings to identify opportunities for editing and reuse.
  • Transform long-form recordings into modular learning objects for VA TMS paths.
  • Develop and edit screen recordings demonstrating contact center technology functionality.
  • Incorporate transitions, callouts, annotations, and visuals to improve learner comprehension.
  • Edit and enhance audio for clarity and consistency.
  • Develop visual assets such as diagrams, icons, and instructional graphics.
  • Create downloadable job aids and quick-reference materials.
  • Collaborate with curriculum designers to determine multimedia treatment for objectives.
  • Convert materials into reusable multimedia components for multiple VA learning paths.
  • Apply VA branding and production standards to all multimedia products.
  • Ensure accessibility features (captions, transcripts, accessible graphics) are incorporated.
  • Support remediation of non-508-compliant videos for VA TMS deployment.
  • Optimize multimedia for delivery environments (TMS, web, downloadable resources).
  • Maintain organized source files and production assets for future updates.
  • Participate in content reviews with stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Incorporate feedback while maintaining version control and schedules.
  • Perform QA reviews for technical accuracy, audio/video quality, accessibility, and alignment.
  • Identify ways to improve learner experience with video, animation, and multimedia techniques.
  • Support rapid production in response to configuration changes and curriculum updates.
  • Contribute to a reusable multimedia asset library for the VA program.
  • Support Train-the-Trainer materials and instructor aids.
