Odoo is looking for a Technical Content Writer in San Francisco, offering a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You will develop technical content across user documentation, product tours, eLearning tutorials, whitepapers, and microcontent, focusing on ERP software.

You will collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams, review content, and publish via GitHub while ensuring accuracy and clarity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in technical writing, focusing on business applications or software platforms.
• A portfolio of writing samples demonstrating technical documentation skills.
• Experience with technical documentation in ERP or SaaS environments.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub or similar version control, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with R&D, product, and marketing to align on Odoo features.
• Peer review content using best practices.
• Write long-form technical guides, whitepapers, and eLearning scripts.
• Maintain documentation across Odoo versions.
• Read/write RST markup and submit docs via Git.
• Manage tasks with Odoo Project and an annual content calendar.
