Job summary

Cisco IQ and Cisco Cloud Control empower customers to manage, operate, and support Cisco environments with AI-powered insights, automated troubleshooting, and proactive guidance. As a Technical Consulting Engineer, you will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate across customers, engineering, product teams, and partners, and help shape scalable solutions.

You will develop lab environments, create technical docs, and contribute to product improvements while delivering a high-quality customer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years related experience or master's with 0 years, or 6 years total experience.
Experience applying technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Experience with cross-product, systems-level thinking in technical environments.
Experience using AI, software, automation, and diagnostic tools to improve quality.
Experience with AI, APIs (Rest and GraphQL), virtualization, AWS, and Splunk.

Responsibilities

Provide critical technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Cisco IQ and Cloud Control.
Collaborate with customers, partners, engineering, product teams, and stakeholders to drive resolution and improve experience.
Leverage AI capabilities, automation, telemetry, and diagnostic tools to accelerate troubleshooting and move toward proactive resolution.
Build and enhance lab environments to reproduce and resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities.
Develop and share digital intellectual capital, including documentation and training.
