Qualifications

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration in multi-disciplinary and customer-service contexts.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Perl, Python, and bash/csh/ksh.
• Experience with system administration in HPC/Linux clusters and OpenShift.
• Ability to work independently within established methods to resolve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of HPC user environments and workflows, including building software in CLI and running HPC jobs.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 support for end users of LC's HPC systems and platform services.
• Escalate and coordinate tickets with Tier 2/3 staff for timely resolution.
• Contribute to documentation and training for effective use of LC HPC systems.
• Develop tools and automation in collaboration with Hotline and LC teams.
• Administer Linux and OpenShift clusters within Platform Services Group.
• Maintain knowledge of LC systems, applications, and internal Hotline tooling.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
