Job summary

GNCO, Inc. is seeking a Technical Communicator/Trainer in Columbus, OH to provide expert technical support and on-site training for technicians, product support, and sales teams. The role focuses on rapid issue resolution and improving overall technical capability.

You will develop service reports, alerts, and training curriculums, while maintaining safety standards and collaborating with product support managers. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Five or more years in a service technician role within the material handling industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to technicians, product support, sales reps, and customers.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and guide proper repairs.
• Document all calls and emails; create and close tickets weekly.
• Lead on-site technical training and develop training curriculum.
• Develop service reports and alerts; maintain training records.
• Travel to dealerships or customer sites as needed for training and support.
