You’ll own technical content, thought leadership, social presence, and external communications, partnering with founders, engineers, and researchers to publish high-impact writing that attracts talent, partners, and customers.

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editing skills to translate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience creating technical content, thought leadership, or communications for AI, developer tools, infrastructure, semiconductor, or similarly technical companies.
• Ability to quickly develop fluency in complex subject matter.
• Experience owning or contributing to external communications, content strategy, social media, or brand messaging.

We’re looking for our first Technical Communications Lead to define, craft, and amplify our company’s story across public-facing channels. In this highly hands‑on role, you’ll bridge the gap between our technical team and external audiences by translating complex concepts into clear and compelling narratives.

We’re looking for someone who is an exceptional writer, technically curious, and comfortable owning a broad range of communications work from the ground up. You should thrive on variety — equally comfortable developing deep technical content, shaping thought leadership, managing social channels, and helping define how the company presents itself externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Content & Thought Leadership: Develop and publish compelling blog posts, technical deep dives, founder content, and other thought leadership that translates complex technical work into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Messaging & Storytelling: Build and continuously refine the company’s core messaging, ensuring our mission, technology, and progress are communicated clearly and consistently across external channels.
• Social Media & Digital Presence: Own the company’s day‑to‑day social presence, developing content that builds awareness and engages prospective candidates, investors, customers, researchers, and the broader technical community.
• Company Announcements: Lead communications around company milestones, research and technical developments, funding announcements, partnerships, and other key moments.
• Media & External Communications: Support relationships with relevant media and help shape how the company is represented externally, including preparing messaging, talking points, and press materials.
• Conferences & Industry Presence: Identify high‑impact conferences, speaking opportunities, awards, and industry moments where the company should have a presence, and help the team communicate its work effectively.
• Cross‑Functional Technical Storytelling: Partner closely with founders, engineers, and researchers to understand the work being done and turn highly technical ideas into accessible, accurate, and engaging content.

What We’re Looking For

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make highly technical concepts clear and compelling
• Experience creating technical content, thought leadership, or communications for an AI, developer tools, infrastructure, semiconductor, or other deeply technical company
• Strong technical curiosity and the ability to quickly develop fluency in complex subject matter
• Experience owning or contributing to external communications, content strategy, social media, or brand messaging
• Ability to work directly with technical founders, engineers, and researchers and extract the most compelling story from their work
• Strong judgment around messaging, tone, and how technical information should be communicated to different audiences
• Ability to operate independently and drive projects from idea through publication
• A practical, low‑ego approach and willingness to move between strategic communications work and hands‑on writing
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment where the communications function is still being built
