Job summary

SwitchTechTalent is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a hybrid role in Beverly, MA, collaborating directly with customers and technology partners to translate conversations into precise integration requirements for Engineering.

In this role you will own the integration discovery process, lead partner conversations from discovery to an agreed specification, map data flows and APIs, validate field mappings, and drive the team through implementation, testing and rollout.

Technical Business Analyst - Systems Integration

Beverly, Massachusetts | Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office

Have you worked directly with customers or technology partners to figure out how their systems connect and turned those conversations into clear requirements for Engineering?

SwitchTechTalent are hiring a Technical Business Analyst for a role where that experience is central.

This isn’t a position focused solely on internal processes or documenting requirements handed over by someone else. You’ll own the integration discovery process, leading partner conversations, investigating how systems exchange data and establishing the detail needed to get an integration delivered.

What you’ll be doing as the Technical Business Analyst:

• Leading external partner conversations, from the first discovery call through to an agreed integration specification.
• Investigating APIs, data flows and file transfers, clarifying field mappings, validation rules, dependencies and what should happen when something goes wrong.
• Working through incomplete documentation, asking the right questions and getting missing information directly from partners.
• Creating clear technical requirements and acceptance criteria, working with Engineering and QA through implementation, testing and rollout.

What we’re looking for as the Technical Business Analyst:

• You could be a Technical Business Analyst, Integration Analyst, Systems Analyst or Technical Implementation Consultant. Your title matters less than the work you’ve personally owned.
• You’ll need experience working directly with external customers or suppliers, a good understanding of systems integrations, and the confidence to investigate technical questions and make appropriate decisions independently.
• The strongest fit will be someone who can explain an integration they took from an unclear initial requirement to a specification the delivery team could build from.
• You don’t need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable getting into the detail rather than relying on engineers to lead every technical conversation.

The package:

$100,000 - $120,000 P/A, Health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), 20 days PTO plus paid federal holidays, and additional benefits.
