Job summary

Tstrata Strengthening Solutions, a Structural Group division, seeks an experienced Technical Business Development Manager for Northern California. Based out of the SF Bay Area with travel and remote work, you will engage the structural engineering community, present our solutions, and coordinate with in-house engineering to support design efforts.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, a CA-PE preferred, and 5+ years in engineering, construction, or technical sales, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• PE license in CA preferred and beneficial for the role.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills required.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering, construction, and/or technical sales experience.
• Experience with the structural engineering community and general contracting firms desired.
• Familiarity with the San Francisco market and local engineers/ firms.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with Northern California structural engineering community and contractors.
• Deliver engineering training presentations to clients and industry groups.
• Support and coordinate between in-house engineering team and structural engineers for design support.
• Follow up on inquiries from presentations and meetings and provide technical assistance.
• Maintain a current pipeline of opportunities in the territory using the CRM.
