Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Technical BA / Technical Product Manager for a 12-month contract in Newark, DE. The role focuses on agile business analysis, technical product management, and requirements management to deliver technology solutions across the project lifecycle.

The candidate will partner with IT and business stakeholders, facilitate between teams, and lead requirements activities. Hybrid onsite presence is required with video interviews and a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent four years of related experience.
• Minimum 4 years in a technical product manager role within a project-based environment.
• Proficiency in agile and waterfall methodologies; JIRA experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience advancing scrum team maturity.
• Knowledge of project and software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT, business, and technology stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Serve as a servant leader and primary facilitator between business and development partners and IT throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide teams to be self-organized; remove impediments and escalation issues to leadership as needed.
• Lead planning, elicitation, analysis, validation, and management of requirements and business processes.
• Develop high-level solution designs, test case designs, and implementation plans with PMs and interfacing IT groups.
• Support execution, transparency, and information radiators across internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead additional IT project work as required based on changing project demands.

We are seeking an Technical BA / Technical Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in agile business analysis, technical product management, and requirements management and a proven ability to deliver business outcomes by defining, validating, and executing technology solutions across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with IT, business, and technology stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Serve as a servant leader and primary facilitator between business and development partners and IT throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent four years of related experience.
• Minimum 4 years in a technical product manager role within a project-based environment.
• Proficiency in agile and waterfall methodologies. Hands-on experience with JIRA preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management and deadline adherence.
• Effective communication across organizational levels. Ability to improve transparency and radiate information.
• Experience assessing and advancing scrum team maturity at a sustainable pace.
• Fluency in technology with strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies and techniques.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, interviewing, workshop, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and backlog management.
• Background in hybrid delivery environments coordinating onsite and remote stakeholders.

Work Arrangement & Hiring Process:

• Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week in Newark, DE.
• Video interview required. One to two rounds. In-person component required.
• Glider ID verification required.
• Target start: Oct/Nov. Maximum of 3 submissions per vendor.
