Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Application Support/Technical Lead to join our dynamic team supporting the Global Community Opportunity (GCO) application portfolio for the CyberGrants project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise application support across Java and .NET and a proven ability to lead BAU delivery, manage releases, and ensure production stability. This role is onsite and targets an October start. GLIDER:ID.

Responsibilities:

• Lead BAU development and support for the GCO portfolio.
• Manage and prioritize work using Jira and Kanban boards.
• Coordinate across development, infrastructure, database, and support teams.
• Drive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Support and maintain applications across Java and .NET environments.
• Analyze and resolve application, infrastructure, and data-related issues.
• Plan deployments, execute releases, and support production operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver enhancements and technical solutions.
• Lead NPT remediations in LLE environments, including SDInfo activities.
• Oversee Secrets Vault activities and password rotation processes.
• Coordinate code promotions via Bitbucket and XLR, and manage CRQs through Release Manager and ITSM processes.
• Support Autosys scheduling, SSIS packages, and data integration workflows.
• Utilize ARM and myCTO for environment and server analysis, and create requests in myTechnology.
• Support SQL Server and Oracle, including query development, tuning, and data issue remediation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years supporting enterprise applications as a Feature Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Application Support engineer.
• Strong expertise in either Java/J2EE with Spring and Hibernate or .NET (.NET Framework / .NET Core), with working knowledge of the other preferred.
• Proficiency with Jira and Kanban-based delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, Autosys, Bitbucket, XLR, Release Manager, ITSM, Secrets Vault, NPT remediations in LLE (SDInfo), ARM, myCTO, and myTechnology.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with clear written and verbal communication.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD, SDLC, and release governance best practices.
