Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Engineer for the Anduril Imaging team in the United States to lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts across hardware, software, and systems. You will own technical direction, guide products from concept through production, and ensure readiness for MRRs while partnering with TPMs to keep programs on schedule and on budget.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in defense or aerospace programs, a broad technical background, and the ability to trade

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with senior leadership roles.
• Technical authority or lead engineer on defense/aerospace programs.
• Track record delivering programs on cost and schedule in partnership with PMs.
• Breadth across hardware, software, mechanical, and/or electrical domains.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction for assigned projects, programs, and tasks, making design decisions and ensuring system integrity.
• Plan and track engineering efforts with TPMs, manage cost, schedule, and performance.
• Guide products from concept through development, test, and production; coordinate MR R activities.
• Scope resources across functional groups to ensure the right expertise is applied.
• Prioritize and drive engineering solutions for production and field issues.
