Job summary

The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Technical Assistance Specialist 2 to support the Provider Enrollment Management System and Case Management systems, including documentation, testing, and rollout planning.

The role requires five years of evaluative, analytical and planning experience, plus strong written communication, cross‑cultural collaboration, and project coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work experience.
• Experience creating/writing technical, clear, and comprehensive process documentation, business mapping, manuals, user guides, and SOPs.
• Experience working on steering committees including contributing to steering committee meetings, presenting ideas, updates, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 technical support to end users of the agency applications (PEMS and Case Management) including providers and State staff.
• Provide insight and feedback on application enhancements and participate in end-user testing during development.
• Develop an implementation plan for license provisioning and user access in the new systems.
• Develop policies and procedures related to logins, passwords, and technical assistance.
• Communicate changes or additions to policies and procedures to Case Management Entities, partners, central office staff, and providers.
