Job summary

The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to turn raw data into clear insights and support policy decisions. You will develop reports, perform fiscal analysis, and work with ODDS programs including Medicaid Waivered services.

Strong Tableau/SQL skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. Remote/hybrid options may be available; office in Salem.

Qualifications

• Seven years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work experience.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and reconciling financial, fiscal, contractual, or operational data.
• Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau and/or SQL.
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures, rules, and contracts and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop data points and reports to identify fiscal, systemic drivers and barriers.
• Collaborate with ORRAI, OIS, and policy teams to coordinate data needs.
• Manage multiple databases and move data into the data warehouse for audits.
• Coordinate surveys with ORRAI and contractors to support reporting to the legislature.
