Job description

Position: Technical Applications Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Applications Analyst to join their team!

The client is working to migrate business users to a new network and will have various engineering systems applications which require reinstallation, testing, and overall migration of user content with the applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with various groups to determine contractual limitations with vendors.
2. Monitor and report software license usage and trends, minimize spend, and rationalize portfolios.
3. Liaise with end users and business customers to understand their current and future requirements.
4. Provide regular feedback and presentations to customers, end users, and senior management regarding migrations.
5. Lead and perform requirements gathering.
6. Align digital strategies with overall strategic business goals.
7. Recommend standard procedures and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Advanced skills in MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of report building (Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, PowerBI).
• Ability to understand how database platforms like SQL Server and Oracle work.
• Understanding of how to install products such as AutoCAD, Cameo, MATLAB, SolidWorks, SQL Server.
• Excellent management, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle, and prioritize multiple requests.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Understanding the requirements of connected data for digital delivery.
• Knowledge of the energy industry and related tools and systems.
