The Technical Accounting Supervisor serves as a key member of the Technical Accounting and External Reporting team and is responsible for leading the Company's accounting policy governance framework while providing technical accounting support for complex transactions. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and business leaders to evaluate accounting implications of strategic activities, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, and drive consistent application of accounting policies across the organization.
The position leads the maintenance and governance of enterprise accounting policies and procedures, monitors emerging accounting standards and regulatory developments, and assesses the impact of new guidance on the Company's financial statements, processes, and controls. The Technical Accounting Supervisor also prepares technical accounting analyses and position papers, supports SEC reporting and disclosure requirements, and serves as a subject matter expert on complex accounting matters.
