You will influence policy, financial reporting, and system enhancements for credit insurance and reinsurance. The role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting within the Controllership team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to address accounting issues and strengthen controls in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to interpret complex transactions.
• Experience researching technical accounting matters and documenting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP, SAP, and other principles.
• Evaluate accounting implications of credit-related reinsurance and related terms.
• Assist with statutory and GAAP financial reporting deliverables and regulatory inquiries.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance affecting insurance, reinsurance, and reporting.
• Serve as SME on system implementation projects for credit insurance and reinsurance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls.
