inDrive is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to join our Global Financial Reporting team. You will own technical accounting positions on complex transactions and help build our SEC-style external reporting across our global operations.

Based in the United States, you will partner with cross-functional teams, work with external auditors, and lead SOX readiness for technical accounting and disclosures.

Qualifications

• CPA license required; strong US GAAP knowledge.
• 8–12 years in Big 4 or equivalent technical accounting/SEC reporting environment.
• Hands-on US GAAP expertise in M&A, financing, revenue recognition, impairment, instruments and FX.
• Technology company experience with $500M–$2.5B revenue preferred.
• Strong memo-writing and research skills; ability to explain conclusions clearly to auditors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on complex transactions (M&A, financings, ASC 805/606).
• Prepare SEC-style financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Research and memo technical accounting under US GAAP; draft journal entries.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies across global entities.
• Partner with global teams to evaluate accounting impact of deals and initiatives.
• Collaborate with external auditors to align conclusions and support audit reviews.
• Own issues end to end with clear recommendations; DO NOT escalate unnecessarily.
• Support SOX readiness for technical accounting and reporting processes.

Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to join our Global Financial Reporting team. You will own technical accounting positions on complex, non-routine transactions and help build our SEC-style external reporting, working closely with teams across our global operations. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on complex transactions, including M&A and business combinations (ASC 805), financing transactions, revenue recognition (ASC 606), impairment, financial instruments and foreign currency matters.
• Prepare and review SEC-style financial statements, footnotes and disclosures, and help build the processes behind them to public company standards.
• Research, document and conclude on technical accounting matters under US GAAP, drafting clear position memos and related journal entries.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies so they are applied consistently across our global entities and stay aligned with new standards and SEC guidance.
• Partner with global accounting teams, FP&A, Legal and HR to evaluate the accounting impact of deals, financings, commercial arrangements and new initiatives.
• Work closely with external auditors to align on accounting conclusions, support audit reviews and resolve technical issues.
• Own issues end to end: solve them independently and bring clear recommendations rather than escalating.
• Support internal control design and SOX readiness for technical accounting and reporting processes.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Active CPA license.
• 8 to 12 years of experience, including Big 4 audit or advisory and technical accounting or SEC reporting for a public filer.
• Hands-on US GAAP expertise in M&A, financing transactions and revenue recognition, plus impairment, financial instruments and FX.
• Experience at technology or IT companies with revenue between $500M and $2.5B is a strong plus.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong research and memo-writing skills: you drive to conclusions on technical matters and explain them clearly to auditors, management and non-accountants.
• Independent problem solver with a strong sense of ownership.
• Effective cross-functional partner, comfortable working with global teams across time zones.
• Based in the United States, in the Eastern or Central time zone.
