Job summary

LHH is seeking a Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager for its Cupertino hub, helping the company gear up for public markets. This role combines hands-on SEC reporting with complex accounting work, in a fast-paced, pre-IPO environment.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with deep U.S. GAAP knowledge and SEC experience, possibly from public accounting or industry. Expect executive visibility and ownership in shaping the company’s accounting infrastructure.

Qualifications

• CPA with deep U.S. GAAP technical accounting and/or SEC reporting experience.
• Background as Audit/Advisory Manager or Senior Manager in public accounting with IPO exposure is highly desirable.
• Experience across both public accounting and industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and memos for complex transactions (revenue, debt, equity).
• Own preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and footnote disclosures.
• Ensure completeness/accuracy of financial statements and disclosures.
• Monitor SEC and FASB developments and implement standards.
• Coordinate with PwC on SEC reviews and inquiries.
• Drive PCAOB Audit readiness and strengthen controls (ICFR/SOX).
• Conduct peer disclosure analysis and technical accounting research.
• Collaborate across Accounting, Finance and FP&A on ad hoc projects in a pre-IPO environment.
