Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks a Technical Accounting Manager to join our remote accounting team. This highly visible role supports executive leadership, external auditors, and cross‑functional finance groups on complex GAAP matters, policy development, M&A activity, and strategic projects.

You will lead research, prepare and defend technical memoranda, own acquisitions accounting, and drive policy implementation across ASC 718, 805, 606 and 842.

Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred.
• 7-10+ years of accounting experience.
• Big 4 or large public accounting foundation strongly preferred.
• Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory, Financial Reporting, or Transaction Advisory experience.
• Strong experience with technical accounting research and memo preparation.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions and purchase accounting.
• Ability to present complex accounting conclusions to senior executives and auditors.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Responsabilités

What You'll Be Doing
