Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience, ideally with a Big Four or large national firm, strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting efforts across entities and jurisdictions.
• Research and analyze complex accounting matters under US GAAP, IFRS, GASB, and other frameworks.
• Monitor and implement new accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical accounting memos documenting conclusions and recommendations.
• Serve as liaison with external technical accounting advisors and consultants.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and related financial reporting processes.
• Partner with finance, operational leaders, and external auditors.
• Prepare and review technical accounting disclosures within financial statements.
• Evaluate accounting implications of new business initiatives and contracts.
• Provide guidance on complex transactions including M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, and divestitures.
• Drive enhancements to accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members.
• Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
