Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Manager to join our Technical Accounting team. You’ll collaborate with the broader finance function to evaluate complex transactions and support disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings. A CPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, with 6+ years of experience, are required, and Hyperion experience is preferred.

The role is hybrid with in-office days three per week, offering opportunities to grow within a leading hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA certification required or preferred.
• 6+ years in accounting and/or public accounting.
• Experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting research under U.S. GAAP and SEC rules; prepare memos.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Finance teams.
• Review quarterly and annual impairment and CECL analyses.
• Oversee quarterly fair value updates and disclosures in 10-Q/10-K.
• Prepare materials for the Audit Committee meetings.
• Mentor and coach senior accountants.
