Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance. The role oversees accounting records, liaises with auditors, and drives process improvements while guiding accounts payable and tax-related tasks.

A strong background in accounting and hospitality sector is preferred. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in accounting, 5+ years of experience, and strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills; Oracle knowledge is a plus, with a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Five or more years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proficiency with the standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Previous hospitality or hotel management company experience preferred. Working knowledge of Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage month-end and year-end close activities and reporting.
Oversee preparation and maintenance of financial records in accordance with GAAP.
Coordinate with auditors and provide requested financial records.
Review accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices.
Support tax-related tasks including coordination with external preparers.
