Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Manager to join our Technical Accounting team. You will collaborate with the broader finance team to evaluate complex transactions and ensure proper disclosures in quarterly and annual filings.

You will lead a small team, mentor relatives of staff, and support the ongoing improvement of financial reporting processes. Hybrid in-office 3 days a week with flexible options; salary range $98,000–$135,000; CPA and SEC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 6+ years of experience in accounting or public accounting.
• Experience with SEC and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex transactions under U.S. GAAP and assist with disclosures for 10-Q/10-K.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting and Finance teams.
• Review quarterly and annual impairment analyses and CECL where applicable.
• Coach, supervise, and mentor senior accountants.
