Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a technical accounting manager to work for a major healthcare system within their financial reporting department. This role does not involve overseeing employees and primarily focuses on developing a library of accounting policies to establish standard operating models. Responsibilities include researching GASB and FASB accounting policy documents, interacting with auditors, researching unique transactions, and establishing policies for the accounting team. The main goal is to be the subject matter expert for unique accounting processes and ensure proper documentation. This is a full-time, fully remote position, but candidates must reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MI, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, or WY.
