Revenue Accounting Manager

Fully Remote

Up to $140K Base + 10% Bonus | Full HDV + 401(k)

We’re working with a fast-growing Tech company with operations in over 40 countries and a complex, multi-entity structure. They are now looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to enhance financial accuracy, streamline global billing operations, and drive compliance with ASC 606 and sales tax regulations.

This is a high-impact role where you'll lead revenue recognition processes, support billing across international teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to refine internal controls and reporting structures. Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring strict ASC 606 and GAAP compliance.
• Partner with the global billing team to manage invoicing operations, deferred revenue, and collections.
• Oversee and enhance sales tax compliance, working with tools such as Avalara.
• Lead month-end close activities including revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support and implement process improvements across revenue, billing, and AR functions.
• Ensure accurate revenue reporting across multiple entities and international subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations to evaluate contracts and revenue implications.
• Maintain audit readiness through strong documentation and internal controls.
• Leverage systems including NetSuite ARM and Salesforce to automate and improve revenue processes.

Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally within SaaS, analytics, or tech-driven environments.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606, revenue recognition, and multi-entity accounting.
• Strong billing and AR experience; hands-on with deferred revenue and SSP analysis.
• Experience managing or improving sales tax processes (e.g., Avalara).
• Proficient with NetSuite (ARM module preferred) and Salesforce.
• CPA qualified; public accounting (Big 4 or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with a process-focused, detail-oriented mindset.
