Job summary

CoreWeave, a leading AI compute platform, seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to drive complex accounting initiatives and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance. You will prepare memos, liaise with auditors, and lead policy development in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment.

You will collaborate with Revenue, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and other teams, manage valuation inputs, and mentor the accounting group. This role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits in Sunnyvale, CA.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in accounting/finance; CPA designation required.
• 8+ years of experience in leading technical accounting, including public accounting (Big Four preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to research and interpret complex accounting issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with IFRS and international accounting standards.
• Prior experience in a technology or software company.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives to completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance and support for complex transactions and new business initiatives.
• Prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions, including ASC 842, 360, 606, 805, 470, 718, 815, and 823.
• Research, interpret, and implement GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Develop, write, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Fixed Assets, Leasing, FP&A, Tax, Legal to provide accounting expertise.
• Serve as a liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Work with external valuation specialists to ensure timely valuations and manage inputs used in valuations.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within accounting and finance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members; provide training and development opportunities.
• Monitor new FASB pronouncements and advise management on reporting changes.
• Manage ad hoc accounting research for business transactions.
• Leverage IT tools to automate accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Assist internal teams with ad hoc accounting and reporting needs.
