Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and provide guidance on complex transactions. You will partner across departments, work with external auditors, and lead policy development in a fast-paced tech environment.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Technical Accounting and requires 8+ years in technical accounting, Big Four experience preferred, and a CPA designation.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA designation required.
• 8+ years leading technical accounting, Big Four experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present technical information clearly.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and financial reporting tools.
• IFRS knowledge and international accounting standards experience.
• Experience in a technology or software company.
• Strong project management skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions (debt/equity financing, customer contracts, business combinations).
• Prepare technical memos on ASC topics (ASC 842, 606, 805, 470, 718, 815, 323).
• Research and interpret GAAP/IFRS; update policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Fixed Assets, Leasing, FP&A, Tax, Legal to provide accounting expertise.
• Liaise with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Coordinate with valuation specialists for complex transaction valuations.
