Deel is hiring a Technical Accounting Director to own complex accounting judgments and serve as the senior technical voice for the finance organization. You will work with the Controller, auditors, and business leaders to ensure accurate, defensible financial reporting.

The role focuses on guiding accounting policy, ASC topics, and internal controls across multiple entities and jurisdictions. A strong candidate brings public-company experience and a builder mindset.

Qualificações

• Active CPA license in the United States.
• 10+ years in public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience with M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration.
• SOX program leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own quarterly and annual reporting for US GAAP.
• Manage significant accounting judgments including ASC 606/805/842/280.
• Lead the SEC reporting team and liaise with auditors.
• Coordinate with Tax, Legal, and business finance on new products.
• Develop and improve internal controls over financial reporting.
• Stay current on US GAAP developments and SEC rules.
