Job summary

J-Tec Material Handling, part of the Katoen Natie group, is seeking a Project Manager with commercial affinity to lead retrofit orders worldwide from Kapellen, Belgium. You will coordinate projects from A to Z, manage planning and budget, and serve as the primary contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role requires a higher technical degree and 5 years of experience, with strong knowledge of electronics, electricity and mechanics, plus excellent Dutch and English

Qualifications

• Requires a higher technical degree (Bachelor or Master).
• Strong analytical skills with problem-solving and accuracy.
• Excellent communication, Dutch native, fluent English; French and German an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up and execution of retrofit orders; first point of contact for customers.
• Coordinate projects from A to Z, manage planning and budget; work with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate additional works; purchase materials and align internally.
• Prepare interventions, keep ERP data up to date; create tickets for follow-up and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards; report to the Business Line Manager; handle timesheets and planning.
