Job summary

AMA EUROPEAN CONSULTING seeks a Technical Support Engineer/Project Manager to analyse requirements, draft specs, and coordinate installations and budgets. You will oversee subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with authorities and clients across sites.

French is mandatory with some Dutch understanding; English is a plus. A strong background in HV/LV systems and RGIE/AREI standards is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant electrical discipline is required.
• Strong knowledge of high- and low-voltage installations and safety rules.
• Familiarity with RGIE/AREI regulations and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Analyse technical requirements and define solutions for new installations.
• Prepare and draft technical specifications.
• Determine location and configuration of new technical installations.
• Request, analyse and compare supplier and subcontractor proposals.
• Coordinate projects and monitor on-site execution.
• Follow up orders, planning, deadlines and project budgets.
• Coordinate and supervise technical subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety and regulations.
• Ensure environmental and noise-related compliance.
• Collaborate with network operators, inspection bodies, engineering offices, public authorities and suppliers.
• Produce clear technical reports, specifications and project documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with internal customers and stakeholders.

Profil

TOP SKILLS (MUST HAVE)

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Electricity, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical installations.
• Good understanding of AC and DC electrical systems.
• Knowledge of RGIE / AREI electrical regulations.
• Technical knowledge of:

• Driving licence B and willingness to travel frequently between technical sites.
• French mandatory with comprehension of Dutch.
