Job summary
Vanderlande is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to support the North American Service Distribution Team. This fully remote role requires frequent travel to customer sites and offers exposure to challenging brownfield retrofits of automated material handling systems.
You will lead electrical design, system integration, and safety compliance across multiple disciplines, with strong communication and leadership to drive project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience in material handling or process industries.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Develop compliant electrical and process control systems for customer specs.
- Peer review designs for compliance with specs and safety regulations.
- Optimize system functionality within budget with cross-discipline input.
- Size components and equipment, perform electrical calculations.
- Design and review complex PLC-based control systems and networks.
- Travel to site for surveys and support installation/commissioning.
