Job Summary

This Technical Account Manager / Technical Project Manager (TAM/TPM) owns the end-to-end execution of unmanned forklifts, acting as the key technical and project liaison between our Korea-based engineering teams and field teams in North America. The role is delivery- and execution-focused, emphasizing full project lifecycle ownership — from kick-off through completion reporting — over sales engineering activities.

They will play a critical role in project planning, on-site setup and commissioning, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturer/ODM partners, customers, and internal development or sales teams, including extended on-site assignments of 2+ months in other U.S. states or neighboring North American countries when required.

Project Planning & Execution
  • Lead the full project lifecycle — including kick-off, implementation, on-site setup, commissioning, final inspection/validation, and completion reporting for unmanned forklift deployments.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into detailed project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and deployment timelines.
  • Own project timelines, milestones, and cross-functional coordination to ensure structured, on-time delivery across customer sites.
Integration & Deployment Support
  • Lead the setup, testing, and validation of robots in customer environments, including integration with upper-level systems such as PLC, WMS, and MES.
  • Coordinate with internal development and sales teams, manufacturers, and ODM vendors to align on customer-specific needs and timelines.
  • Provide on-site or remote deployment support, including extended on-site assignments of 2+ months in other U.S. states or neighboring North American countries.
  • Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and detailed project plans to ensure structured, on-time deployment across customer sites.
  • Own the technical project lifecycle by managing timelines, milestones, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful site-level execution.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, manufacturers, and ODM vendors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders — including customers, SI partners, development teams, and on-site operations — to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor deployment performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and proactively recommend improvements.
Cross-Functional Feedback & Product Insight
  • Collect and synthesize field and customer feedback to provide actionable insights to sales and development teams.
  • Prepare completion reports and structured documentation for each deployment phase.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None.
Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
  • Experience in executing projects related to Unmanned forklifts or AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots)or AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles).
  • Experience leading or executing the full project lifecycle: kick-off, implementation, on-site setup, commissioning, final inspection, and completion reporting.
  • 2+ years of Project Management (PM) experience in System Integration (SI), solutions, or logistics/manufacturing automation.
  • Proven track record of analyzing customer requirements and successfully leading projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, SI partners, development teams, and on-site operations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for long-term assignments (2+ months) to other US states or neighboring North American (NA) countries.
Preferred Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
  • Experience in automation projects, including Robotics, Logistics Automation, and Factory Automation.
  • Experience integrating upper-level systems such as PLC, WMS, and MES.
  • Basic understanding of core technologies, including SLAM, Navigation, LiDAR, and 2D/3D vision sensors.
  • PMP certification or equivalent formal project management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings to understand on-site layouts.
  • Proficient English communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with clients and overseas engineers.
  • Korean language proficiency is preferred.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
