About The Job

Red Hat's Technical Services team is seeking an enterprise engineer with expertise in automation technologies to work remotely in the U.S. Pacific or Mountain Time Zone. You will collaborate with enterprise customers, providing technical and architectural guidance on the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. Your role involves acting as a liaison, facilitating communication, and ensuring successful implementation of Red Hat solutions. It requires technical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication to align objectives and drive outcomes.

What You Will Do
  • Support enterprise customers with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform implementations
  • Act as the primary advocate for customers within Red Hat, fostering collaboration
  • Update customers on Red Hat portfolio roadmaps and assist with upgrades
  • Stay current with technologies like container orchestration, microservices, and automation environments
  • Provide expertise on Ansible Automation Platform, including technical reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Understand customer infrastructure, hardware, and product usage
  • Respond to support requests via various channels
  • Offer strategic advice on Red Hat products and solutions
  • Manage and document customer cases
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and support teams
  • Create technical documentation and maintain customer relationships
  • Visit customer sites as needed and ensure high-quality service
What You Will Bring
  • Experience in technical support, software development, or engineering
  • Deep knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and similar tools (Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
  • Experience with configuration management, application deployment, and orchestration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage customer relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Residence in the U.S. Central or Eastern Time Zone
  • Background in software engineering, Linux system administration (preferably RHEL)
  • Experience with DevOps, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployments (preferred)
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and source code management tools (preferred)

The salary range is $94,550 - $151,170, based on qualifications.
