Job summary

CyberTeck Academy in Ellicott City, Maryland, is offering a paid internship for an Onsite Teacher (Fall 2026). The part-time role involves delivering technology classes at schools in MD/VA/DC, with paid training provided and shifts that fit a 2.5–5 hour window.

A vehicle is required to transport equipment and class materials; start date is Feb 9, with training beforehand. Applicants should be comfortable teaching kids aged 5–14, able to work independently, and ready for a criminal background

Qualifications

Familiar with video and/or computer games.
Enjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of age.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
Plus: some experience with basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or any 3D modeling software.
Plus: some child-care, teaching and/or tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
Show up ON TIME - we are responsible for children.
Set up laptops and related equipment for 8-12 children.
Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
