Job summary

CyberTeck Academy seeks a part-time Howard Teacher for Fall 2026. The role is a paid internship with paid training, teaching Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and Lego Robotics to children aged 5–14.

Work involves transporting equipment to various schools and delivering engaging classes across multiple counties in DC/MD/VA regions. Training is provided, shifts are 2.5–5 hours, and candidates should be available 1–5pm on weekdays with some Saturday options.

Qualifications

• Familiar with video and/or computer games.
• Enjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of age.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well independently.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up on time – we are responsible for children.
• Set up laptops and related equipment for 8-12 children.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
• Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
