Job summary

CyberTeck Academy is seeking part-time, onsite teachers for a Fall 2026 paid internship. Classes run 6–8 weeks weekly at various schools with paid training provided. Candidates need minimal experience and should be available 2+ days per week; owning a vehicle to transport equipment is required.

Shifts vary by location, with after-school hours and weekend options available. This role focuses on Minecraft programming, game design, and robotics for students aged 5–14.

Qualifications

• Familiar with video and/or computer games.
• Enjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of age.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well independently.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
• Plus: some experience with basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or any 3D modeling software.
• Plus: some child-care, teaching and/or tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up ON TIME - we are responsible for children.
• Set up laptops and related equipment for 8-12 children.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
• Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
