Job summary
Lincoln Financial is seeking a visionary technology executive to lead the transformation of the Group Protection business. As VP, Head of Technology, you will shape the technology roadmap, lead a high‑performing team of engineers and architects, and partner with senior leaders to deliver scalable, customer‑centric solutions.
You will guide modernization and AI-driven initiatives while aligning technology with strategic growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Must have 15+ years of progressive technology and architecture experience at executive level.
- Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiatives in a service-based environment.
- Deep expertise in Group Benefits, insurance, financial services or related industry with regulatory understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent).
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Align technology initiatives with business growth objectives.
- Technology Roadmap Ownership: Develop a multi-year roadmap with modernization and AI-driven initiatives.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead engineers and technical leads to deliver outcomes.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and operational efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Oversee strategic vendors and regulatory alignment.
- Market Awareness: Translate industry trends into growth strategies.
