Job summary

Pacific Life in Charlotte, NC seeks a Director, Technology Transformation Leader for the Institutional Division to steer the technology strategy and execution for a multi-year program. You will partner with the division's transformation lead, own the technical roadmap, and drive cloud-ready, API-enabled platforms across policy administration and servicing systems.

The role requires 8+ years of tech leadership in financial services, mastery of agile delivery, DevOps, and governance in regulated

Qualifications

8+ years in technology leadership roles, ideally in financial services/insurance.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Strong command of agile delivery practices and DevOps/DevSecOps principles.
Experience leading hybrid teams (employees, contractors, vendor partners).
Ability to operate in a regulated environment with governance expectations.

Responsibilities

Partner in a two-in-a-box model to co-own transformation outcomes with the AVP, Transformation Leader.
Own the technical roadmap for Institutional Division platforms (policy, administration, servicing).
Translate the roadmap into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with Product and Operations.
Lead sprint planning, releases, and delivery metrics using agile practices.
Coordinate with vendor/BPO tech teams to support platform integrations and delivery commitments.
